This piece is called the Warhol flower.He uses very warm colors and the bright colors make the flower pop out more. Also I noticed that the ones on the left are kind of a messy look and the ones on the right are neat and makes it look more surreal.
This piece is a portrait of Michael Jackson. He used monochromatic colors in this one, which are yellow, red, and blue. I noticed he used a neutral color for his skin tone. It's very well done. It really does look like him.

Why must designers pay close attention to how color is utilized within a composition?
To be able to understand the colors used and see the affects.

It helps designers mix colors together using the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors.

We briefly see a color in a the image through our eyes. It also depends on how the colors are presented in the image.
